Count the meal slots you want covered. Five weekday lunches means five meals; lunch and dinner across those same five days means ten. Training frequency alone cannot tell you how many prepared meals to buy.
Make a one-week food diary before ordering
Use your calendar rather than an ideal week you rarely manage. Mark the meals you already cook, eat with family or buy at work. Then mark the gaps where prepared food would actually help.
- Which days are you working away from home?
- When do you finish training too late to want to cook?
- Which meals do you enjoy preparing yourself?
- Will anyone else share the order?
- Can you refrigerate and heat the meals where you will eat them?
Three examples
| Routine | Meal slots | Possible starting order |
|---|---|---|
| Work lunches Monday to Friday | 5 | 5 meals |
| Five work lunches and two evening meals | 7 | 7 meals |
| Lunch and dinner on five days | 10 | 10 meals |
These are scheduling examples, not nutrition targets. Breakfast, snacks and the other meals in your week still need organising. Your order does not need to increase automatically because you are bulking or because you trained more often.
Check the plan details
Our standard weekly options are 5, 7, 10 and 14 meals. The plans page shows prices and how many different flavours each option allows. Repeated flavours fill the remaining meal slots.
If you need a different number, such as three or sixteen meals, use the bespoke enquiry form. The team will discuss the order and quote; do not assume a standard plan’s per-meal rate automatically applies.
Plan storage before choosing a larger order
Receiving seven days’ worth of meals does not mean every item can stay refrigerated for seven days. Follow each meal’s use-by date and storage instructions. Check whether the label permits freezing and plan ahead if you will not eat it in time. The Food Standards Agency’s storage guidance is a useful reference.
Make sure there is space in your fridge or freezer and somewhere suitable to store lunch at work. Ordering food you cannot store safely will not make the week easier.
Review after an ordinary week
Notice what was useful and what was left over. If lunch was covered but late dinners were still difficult, you have a specific reason to change the next order. If plans changed and food went unused, a smaller order may fit better.
